BARDON BRANDS GET UNDER STARTERS ORDERS FOR RACING SPONSORSHIP
Robert Lawson will drive for Bardon Aggregates, specialists in crushed rock, sand and gravel and secondary aggregate quarries and Bardon Concrete, one of the leading suppliers of ready-mixed concrete, in its striking Bardon branded car which will be run by 2005 ELF Renault Clio Cup third-place team Mardi Gras Motorsport who provided .
The Bardon businesses are no strangers to high-speed performance – the track at Silverstone racing circuit is surfaced with Bardon Prixmat, which has been specially designed to suit the demanding requirements of motor sports and test tracks and was specified for its ‘flat track’, spray minimisation and noise reduction properties. Bardon Contracting also used Prixmat on the recent circuit modifications at Brands Hatch.
Commenting on the sponsorship, Belinda Basson, marketing manager of the Bardon brands, said, “We are delighted to be associated with the ELF Renault Clio Cup once again. Our company strives to be the best in class and in Robert we recognise his drive and enthusiasm to achieve the same.

Robert Lawson’s first official test of the car on the track will be held at Snetterton on March 29th 2006.
