Bardon Aggregates has a substantial land bank of mineral reserves strategically located in its principal areas of business. Investment in modern and efficient processing plants gives us the ability to supply a range of materials for various end uses.

Crushed rock types include granite, basalt, gritstone and limestone. Blasting and excavating of these materials together with progressive stages of crushing and screening combine to enable the production of the range of aggregate sizes required.

The company operates several sources of “high specification aggregates” primarily for use in road surfacing applications – we can offer materials with a PSV of 70.

Materials can be blended and mixed to satisfy numerous specifications, governed by British Standards, the Department of Transport or to customers’ own requirements.

Crushed rock is also supplied for a variety of specialist uses, such as water and effluent filtration and rail track ballast. In addition, we offer Rock Armour in a range of sizes and specifications for coastal and river protection.
