Bardon Aggregates Products - Rock Armour

Natural stone from Bardon Aggregates quarries has been used for centuries for the construction and detailing of a wide variety of buildings and architectural decoration. Its appeal for architects, builders and masons lies not just in its durability, but in its attractive and varied colours, and the ease with which it can be worked.

Sandstone, also known as "Millstone Grit", from our Waddington Fell Quarry is ideally suited for use as masonry stone for new build and restoration work, stone for walling, cills, window headers, jambs, mullions, quoins, fireplaces and other features. This quarry's stone is unusual in that it is possible to gain yellow/buff, pink/red and veined stone in each colour combination from the same quarry.
