Fal River Diversion:

Constructed in 1996, this bank protection was designed to prevent erosion of a pinch point.

Constructed in 1998 to protect the river bank and cycleway from the effects of river erosion and to replace worn timber.

40,000 tonnes of Rock Armour were used in the construction of the Tees Barrage, Stockton On Tees, Cleveland.

River Protection, Cumbria:

For its river protection contract in Cumbria, the NRA specified Rock Armour from Bardon Aggregates.

River Wear, Bishop Auckland:

Special 1.5 tonne blocks were used to stop river bank erosion and protect Newton Cap Road and Rail Viaduct on the River Wear, Bishop Auckland.

River Humber Passenger Rail Line:

Bardon Aggregates Rock Armour were used on the bank of the River Humber to protect the passenger rail line. 70,000 tonnes was supplied by rail.
