Par Harbour:
Constructed from similar Cornish Granite in 1993, designed to
protect the embankment and Western Edge of the Harbour Wall from
tidal erosion in St Austell Bay.

Hartlepool Marina:
300,000 tonnes of Rock Armour stone were used to create the development
in the North East of England. Stone in varying sizes of up to eight
tonnes were used in the coastal protection project to protect the
marina from the fierce wave power of the North Sea.

Carboniferous limestone was used on the New Esplanade to form
protection from the ravages of the North Sea.

Bardon Aggregates Rock Armour now surrounds and protects an exclusive
housing development, part of the Hartlepool Renaissance project.

North Dock, Sunderland:
The construction and upgrading of North Dock in Sunderland used
35,000 tonnes of Rock Armour from Bardon Aggregates.

St Bees Coastal Defence:
Railtrack specified Bardon Aggregates Rock Armour for their Coastal
Defence Project at St Bees in Cumbria, after the West Coast was
hit by savage storms resulting in a major slippage of land and the
rail link was washed away.

Emergency supplies secured the rail link, whilst a further 65,000
tonnes were used in the permanent works.
